I just bought a small silver king undercounter freezer… I took it's casters off and set it on my counter… It only got 25° all night… what could be the problem?

It it turned on at the temperature dial? If it is, contact the seller.

This is from another manual, but typical. Notice it mentions the 'OFF' setting.

Model numbers are useful in such questions. It looks like you have Arctic King ARC070S0ARBB 7 cu ft Chest Freezer, Black
Brand: Arctic King.

High back pressure is generally a sign that the evaporator coil is clogged with debries or the fan isn't working I suggest checking this first.

Are you getting any noise at all from the back of the system. It sounds like it could be a bad t'stat or relay. This would stop it from working right away.

The cold control needs replacing. Thats the knob with the numbers that turn the Ref OFF and ON.
What I do is call my local Appliance Parts Store with my model no. They are extremely helpful .

Possible that it is draining a larger current and so it trips the breaker. Check if the capacitor to the motor is faulty, replace if you find it on test to consume more current and low charge.
Also the motor can be checked , the wiring to the freezer specially the GROUND connection as any leak can also trip the circuit.

Try doing a defrost. If the freezer works after defrost, then it was the defrost system. If the freezer has auto defrost (evaporator comprising thermostat, timer, fan and heater), then the problem may restart after few days. In that case the problem is one of the parts comprised in the evaporator.

If the freezer does not cool after defrost, then temperature control (depending on model) may be responsible. Compressor and gas leak usually result in no cooling at all.

check that the door seals are a good fit all round,sounds like an air leak.....

Sounds like a shorted compressor.

"Front Breathing" usually means the refrigerator has a fan forced cooling system (condenser fan) that gets it cool air (and usually exhausts the warm air) via a front vent. The vent is usually located on the bottom or top.
