tvs are sold by aldi as its out of uk its set to region 4 and cannot be set to others. same with the dvd players if it has one built in. you would be able to sort this if it was an other model like samsung with a firmware update but this brand does not have a firmware update. you would need to replace the review board to an one for your area,

Had the same problem. Make sure the input source is set to DVD before trying to eject. If you put a DVD/CD in and subsequently change to another input mode (such as DTV) then it won't spit out the CD. And you are right - that behaviour is not documented.
