When you power up the cpu check your smps is working?
Then check num lock key on key bord if it is on and off when you press numlock then your cpu gives dispaly to monitor ok.
but if it not constant on or off no change when you press num lock key then you have to open cpu cabinet.
Refix RAM memory .
Clean dust from motherbord chipset.
Pull out cmos cell for 15 minutes so bios settings are reset to defaults.
then check.
refix all connection to mothebord like ATX power supply from smps.

Pulling the CMOS battery worked like a charm. It went into error recovery mode. It came up with a system file integrity error, but then it booted into Vista.

Does your computer boot at all? meaning do you see the bios data, hard drives, ect? or maybe a logo like compac or dell? when it boots look at the tower is it doing anything? my best guess is its booting and the reason your getting that message ( no input signal ) is because your video card has died. I could be wrong because it will give you the same message if your computer died its your monitors way of saying ( I'm not receiving a signal am I supposed to be?) I hope this helps please let me know..

Hi,
No input signal is usually displayed indicating that the monitor is not receiving video from the computer. The causes can be but not limited to:

The VGA cable in not connected properly to the VGA socket on either the PC or the monitor.
The VGA cable is damaged.
The video card or on-board video is faulty.

To resolve the problem:
Check the VGA cable for any visible damages, remove and reconnect the cable securely.
Check with another working video card.

Hope this solves the problem. Thanks.

That solution sounded a little complicated.....try to make sure that the monitor is connected to the computer....find the cable on the back of the monitor that is not connected to the outlet and make sure that it is properly seated...most of the time when you get that error it is because cable from the monitor to the computer is not connected properly...

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((motherboard to your hard drive))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
if this fails to fix the problem
or it might be your graphics card make sure its securely seated and there is no dust built up
on and around the graphics card hope this helps

Ms 6787 no signal input

since you said you do not know anything anything about the jumpers and stuff, probably i suggest you take it to a nearest computer specialist to do it right for you. one thing you have to check up when installing a new motherboard is you power supply, does it have more or less power output? is the local disc or hard drive connected correctly? if you have no idea on all of this then there is a need to have a specialist to do it right for you becauase if not, there would be nothing for you computer to display.

looking forward to hear from you.

thanks,

My Pc wont boot no signal in my monitor Help!

May be your in second HDD, you didn't set the jumper up. There are some more settings you will have to configure in the BIOS menu. in the BIOS, you should set the primary HDD as the master and the second(newer HDD) as the secondary. Then it should boot without any problem but if the problem persists I don't know what to do next.

What does this mean?

It means that the monitor is not receiving a signal from the video card of the computer.

Possible failures are as follows:

1. The monitor input cable is no longer connecteds to the video casd.
2. The computer is not powering on
3. The video card has failed
4. The input Select option of the LCD is set wrong

Orange Light permanently on motherboard. PC won't start

If all you did was change hard drive
I suspect the hard drive has been installed wrong
Ensure blue or red stripe goes to the number 1 pin on M/board and the stripe goes next to the 4 pin power supply on hard drive

No signal to monitor

Sounds like a bios issue. Check your manual for resetting your bios to default parameters. Good luck.
