Mate.If the motor was rebuilt and maybe the prop had a new bush put in it,it could be the wrong spline was put in the prop hub.Or wrong diameter.Without more info, this is a guess.hope this helps

Okay there's hoses for the parking brake, how do they cconnect? Do I need to buy some type of connector? Everything under there is rusted.

The flexible hydraulic brake hoses are for your primary brakes both front and rear. The brake hoses are manufactured with metal fittings on both ends ready for fitting as shown in these examples.

Hi,
This is a problem with the 'Motor Run Capacitor'

What you suggest is exactly what happens when this part fails.

Unplug - and look carefully around the connections to the compressor - there should be a cylinder with 2 connections on it. Read what value it says (like 250V 50pf) - and order a replacement from a parts store.

Fit it any way round - it doesnt matter.

plug back in and should work 100%

Cost about - $5

Mercury outboard problem

If you have a spare prop try it. The prophub of your current prop may have a bad Rubber bushing. There are some OMC units which have a 2 piece design that still has the Rubber bushing but the prop is a separate piece and the inner hub is sold separately.

Most Mercs have the Rubber hub as part of the prop. The Rubber hub in any case is taking the place of a shearpin. The Rubber starts to slip or crumble and then you can't go anymore. Sometimes the damage is visible but only sometimes.

For the 1 piece system the Hub needs to have a new Rubber bushing installed at a Prop shop. With luck, the prop is your only problem.

Ive got an angle iron to fit but unsure how to install in it.im taking the window out and putting french doors in the solder bricks on top of window are lose hence the iron im just unsure how to fit it

The horizontal part fits into the side bricks--you need to remove mortar to allow it to slide in. The upper bricks need to be reset on top of the iron in fresh mortar. Hope you bought a heavy piece of iron to span the distance and support any weight above.
