Same problem, drill just quit working and had a burned smell with smoke. I took the drill apart and found the interior wiring to be melted, and the motor burned up. Cheap, cheap, cheap drill - nothing like my Dewalt or Makita drills! They cost more, but last forever, and you can get replacement parts to repair ANY problem. Worth their weight in gold!

screwed 75 2 1/2 inch deck screws worked great, came back the next morning and zip doesn't work.... called the service number he said I over worked the drill and burnt the trigger up. sounds like bs to me but he said they would send a new trigger out for $15.00. does it pay to fix a problem of theirs????
