Ok, machine has seized up or the balance wheel has to be tightened. Therefore, you will have to oil the machine thoroughly or tighten the lock screw inside the balance wheel.
If it is a mechanical (not computerized) machine, most likely it has seized due to lack of regular cleaning and oiling. The user has instructions for regular maintenance, however, the interior of the machine also needs maintenance to keep it running smoothly, which will be performed by a trained technician. Recommend not trying to run the motor while the mechanics are locked as it could damage the motor.
Are the cloth plate and front looper covers fully closed? some machines have safety cutout on these for obvious reasons.
Check this firstly.
Can you hear the engine humming?
If yes, but no movement when you press the foot pedal, then it is possible that a gear inside the main drive area has failed. Try manually turning the flywheel towards you, if there is no movement from the loopers and needles then this is likely.
this very same thing happened to my flat machine turned out to be a piec of material jammed in the workings also wrong oil used or it might be thread jammed try and see
