Samsung 60" plasma TV pn60e530a3fa. only turns on with remote. once hit the on button all that happens is you hear the on chime. no picture just black(nothing)turn off,hear off chime. TV given to me

If your Samsung TV does has sound but no picture showing up on the TVs screen you will need to reset the TV then. By unplugging your TV and wait a about 60 seconds. While the TV is unplugged press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds. After 60 seconds are plug your Samsung TV back in again after.

Hey If you have tried Using remote and side pannels Have you tried another TV to see if its the Cable? Also The clicking sound is normal its the TV's Power-source starting. The fan light I am not sure of but if it happens every-time it should be normal. If the screen gets warm Instantly (Hotish) Then you TV is dead D:

I hit the remote on button the 52"samsung tv

Tries tv unplug,replug it back like about an hour later.For the tv to resetting itself back to the factory setting,it should be working again.If it is still have the same problems,the causes mostly the power supply board have the problems,that the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like a Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply for the replacement.

The volume is not working on our Samsung HPT4254 Plasma. We have a RCA surround sound connected to it as well as our cable box.

First check to make sure that the audio isn't "Muted". Second, Go into the user menu and check to make sure that the "Melody or Chime " is turned "on". Third, Turn the volume up half way.Fourth, Turn "off" the set. You should hear a "Down" Melody or chime. Next turn "on" the set. If you did hear the Melody when you turn the set "on" or "off" then the audio system in the set is ok. If you did not hear the Melody then the Main bd needs to be replaced. Have a trained Samsung tech repair your set.

Plasma Hyundai 42'' TV ,NO SOUND OR PICTURE

most times then not it's the capacitors on your power board that blew there for not supplying the tv with enough power if you open it up and check the capacitors it should be leaking some kind of liquid or the tops have bubbled up. its an easy fix cost>>2 dollars each

It's in standby mode.

Let's do a reset and see what happens

While holding down the reset button on the remote
Press the power button on the tv
(The tv will turn itself off the back on)
Now release the reset button

The input may have been changed, press the input button on the remote or tv until you get the picture back.
