How to put phone numbers on the blackberry 8120

you have 2 options. you can load them directly in your "address book" by going into your address book, menu button (bb icon left of trackball), select "New Address" and enter the info.
Option 2 , would be going into your address book, select "SIM phone book" and enter the info there.
Keep in mind, when you use the SIM phone book option, you can only enter their name and phone number, and after you are done, you have to import your SIM contacts to your address book.
Any contacts saved using the SIM option, will stay on your SIM card.
Any contacts using the Address Book option, will only remain on the phone, and not on your sim card.
ho[pe this helps!

Address book

open your 'empty' address book and click on the MENU button (left of the rotater wheel) and select FILTER and UNCHECK anything that is checked there. All your addresses should reappear. It happened to me and I have no idea how it happened, but it was a relief to get them all back so easily. Hope that works.

My address book always shows up empty, but the numbers are stored somwhere on the phone because the caller ID shows up with name, number, pic, everything. even if i save a number in the address book, it...

Are you sure another address book isn't hidden? You can view all apps to see if it shows up. If you click the menu button and show all or unhide. If that doesn't work try switching to another theme.

My Address book for my BB pearl 8100 just disappeared

Seeing as this is a blackberry I need you to do a hard reset- take the battery out of your phone while it is still turned on, then let it reset itself. If that doesn't work, consult with your phone company's tech support. Good luck

Can't view my contacts in the address book

You have a filter on. When you see the screen that says "no addresses" you need to go to the top where it says "FIND:" then click the "Blackberry" key to the left of your trackball. Scroll up to "Filter" and click. One of your "categories" is checked. Click on whatever one is highlighted to uncheck. All of your addresses should pop up.
