1 – Is the NO SIGNAL issue happening on just one TV? CORRECT INPUT or SOURCE If it is just one TV that is showing the NO SIGNAL… -Be sure your TV is on the correct source or input as your CABLE or SAT BOX. -Press the TV button on TV remote control to turn your TV ON. -Press the INPUT button on your TV remote control. -Cycle through all the inputs on your TV. -Do this until you are on the INPUT your CABLE or SAT BOX is plugged into. -You should then see the CABLE or SAT programming show on your TV. HINT: Your TV will most likely list the TV INPUTS as: HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, VGA, Component 1, Component 2, and so on. If you still see NO SIGNAL on your TV screen, see the next step below…
2 – If you have your TV on the correct INPUT or SOURCE and you still see NO SIGNAL… CABLE OR SAT BOX NEEDS RESET -Remove or unplug the power cable from the Cable TV or SAT set top box. -Keep it unplugged for 2 to 3 minutes. -Plug the power cable back into your Cable or SAT set top box. -Give it some time for the Cable or SAT box to power up, get the signal, and initialize. If you still see NO SIGNAL on your TV screen, see the next step below…
3 – If you have reset the Cable or SAT box and still have the NO SIGNAL… UNPLUG THE CABLE GOING FROM THE TV TO YOUR CABLE OR SAT BOX -Remove the HDMI cable or other cables from your Cable TV or SAT set top box. -Keep the cable unplugged for 2 to 3 minutes. -Plug the HDMI cable or other cables back in. -Give it some time for the Cable or SAT box to get the signal and initialize. HINT: Make sure all the cables that are connected to your Cable or SAT box and your TV are tight, undamaged, and secured.
4 – If all of your TVs are affected with the NO SIGNAL screen… BE SURE THE COAX CABLES OR ETHERNET CABLES ARE SECURE or CABLE OR SAT IS DOWN TEMPORARILY -Be sure to check the ones where the CABLE or SAT come into your home. -Be sure ALL Ethernet and Coax cables are secure. -Call your CABLE or SAT provider to see if there is an outage. -Realign your Dish if you have SATELLITE.
Three things here the unit the cable or the LNB.
Simple things first Cable
1.cable
Check the satellite plugs on Both ends are correctly fitted and there is no shorting of the core central cable and the shield. Check the cable with a meter put a loop( connect core to shield at one end) on the other end and check resistance.
2. Unit
Check your unit with a know good setup a friends perhaps.
3. LNB the unit on the arm of the dish
You should be able to get a signal from the LNB with a alignment meter. or replace with known good to test
yellow is video and red and white are audio
you a get by with one audio. i think you are missing your video cable you can get by with two cables just use the white cable as a yellow and plug it into the yellow dvd plug and tv yellow plug and the red will stay hooked up for sound ( you wont have stereo but it should work)
No Signal means you Display or Monitor is not getting signal from Video Card.
In this case:
1. Check if all the cable are properly plugged in. Check on both monitor and computer back.
2. Check if cable is not broken.
3. Try unplugging cables and plug them back.
4. Try some other monitor or cable.
5. If cables are fine than problem could be with your video card.
As you are getting No Signal that mean your monitor is working fine. Problem is either with cable or video card.
There are only two possibilities for this problems for this tv.One: the tv incomming broadcasting signal cable wire that is plugging into ur tv Tuner signal board could be bad.U can test this out the incomming broadcasting signal cable wire is good or bad pretty easily by just plug it into another tv to find out the incomming signal cable wire is bad or good. Two: If the tv incomming broadcasting signal cable wire is good by plug it into a another tv.Than ur tv the tv Tuner signal board is the causes and the problems. The tv Tuner signal board CPU chip is bad.U can do some mechanical work like take things aparts and putting it back together again?Yes.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.
hit the back panel. I have the same ty and it's the only interface to the inside ..no coaxial cable , no hdmi or nothing ...this was made out of pure stupidity!
On the booster there should be one input plug (probably labelled antenna, or AE) and two output plugs (probably labelled TV1 and TV2). The cable from your aerial should go into the input plug, then your tv should plug into the tv plug. It's best to have a short a cable as possible from the aerial to the booster. Often the booster is fitted in the attic, with the TV cables running to the appropriate rooms. This prevents the booster from 'boosting' any signal noise.
check for antena cable plug condition, normaly 80% of low quality of antena signal, is conection on antena plug (inside)
1st open antena plug, check for condition/connection of cable.
2nd check for each part of cable well connected, and no wires crossed on middle cable
3rd check same to the other end of cable.
4rd check the signal on diferent tvs around house (if available)
if this general you dont have aerial signal in your house, check for your TV provider (cable) to test your arial signal.(Normaly this maybe a cable broken outside house).
