With the SIM card came the initial pin and the PUK on a card. Perhaps you still have this card in the box, the phone came in. Or with the invoice?
When you can't find it, most of the time the provider can help you with the PUK, or even can send or give (in a store) you a new SIM and put your number on the new SIM. Then you again have an new PIN and PUK code. Please put the card with the PUK in a safe place.
PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is enteredafter the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and willrequire a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider. PUK codes can be obtained through the following ways -The PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack.If you do not have this then -Please contact your phone service provider. Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once you give themyour account details and they have confirmed your identity. For details to obtain the PUK code for the SIM card, pleaseclick on this link and follow my instructions. http://www.fixya.com/support/r5705889-puk_code
PUK is Pin Unblocking Code. This is normally a code available to help
mobile users with the telephone company as when one activates PIN code
for his/her mobile and by chance forgets that PIN code and enters wrong
PIN code for 4 times then PUK code is asked. This code can be given to
the user on request by the customer care after proper verification.
PUK code is 10 digit code and if user enters wrong PUK code for 10 times
then SIM card is bloked and user needs to change the SIM card.
You need to call uninor customer care from any other uninor number (your friend or family member having uninor sim can help!)
They will ask the sim card number written at the back of sim card and give you PUK number.
Hi the PUK code is the security code for the sim card its on their to stop people stealing your numbers, the only place you can get the PUK code from is your service provider. All you need to do is give them a call and give them the phone number of the sim card thats asking for the PUK code or give them the number written on the sim card, they will then give you the 10digit PUK code. your service provider dont charge for this service and will give you the code over the phone for free.
now the other option you have is if you dont need to use that sim card then you could go and get a new sim card and put this in your phone, also when you buy a new or get a new sim card you will be given the PUK code it will be written on the card the sim card is stuck to.
their is no other way of getting the PUK code as its only help by the person who owns the sim card and the service provider so you will need to give them a call to get the code but it is free and they will give it you over the phone.
some service providers will give you the PUK code via their web site but not all service providers offer this service so you will need to check this.
