Im having hard time in turning on my pensonic led tv, usually take an hour or 2. so hard to find the sensor of the infrared. why theres no power button on the tv if remote is not working. pls help.

Only if it is a Smart television connected to wifi. Google the manual. Open Smart Phone or Computer to Google Chrome and Chrome Cast or Apple Cast to Device.

Google TV remotes and there are several choices there. You can order a universal one and then program it for your TV.

Check whether the standby/power LED at the front of the TV light up, when power is switched ON. If not, the 5V standby supply is not there, and the remote sensor also won't get power, and won't work. If this LED lights up, standby/power voltage is there, and the infrared sensor inside the TV is faulty, provided the remote control emits infrared rays for each press of its button. If it is a universal remote control, if you have taken out its battery from its battery compartment, the remote had resetted by itself, and you should set it with the setup code to your TV once again.

It is a three terminal component, can be located just beneath the remote sensor window at the front panel of your TV. You have to open your TV, to access it. Usually it will be soldered directly to the front panel printed circuit board alongwith switches. It can be unsscrewed out from position, desolder it out from the printed circuit board. There will be a number pirinted on its bode3y [usually laser printed],and should be noted. Replace it with same type and number, never use substitutions, as it is a critical component. Insist always on orginal type and number. When resoldering it out, not the position of the terminals and mark it out on a piece of paper for reference.

Usually remote sensor damage is a rare case. Just check your TVs remote control hanset well for ints infrared emission. You can check it very easly, if you have a cellphone with camera option. Put the phone to camera mode, and place the remotec control's infrared led side [front side] towards the lens of the cellphone, and press each button. If there is infrared emission, your cellphone camera will sense it and you can see it in its display. If there is no indication of infrared emission, change your remote control before replacing the remote sensor.

You just check your remote control handset for its infrared emission. There is an infrared light emitting diode [LED], in front of your remote control handset from which infrared light rays are send to your TVs infrared sensor, fitted inside it, behind the infrared window on its front panel. Infrared rays are invisible to human eye. We can check if it is there by using a cellphone with camera option.
Put the cellphone in camera mode, and place your remote control's LED side towards its lens, for about a feet away or so, and when you push its each button, you can see an image in the phones' screen. If it is there, and still your TV don't work with remote control, TVs infrared sensor inside is faulty, and needs replacement.
If there is no infrared image from your remote control, you have to buy one new remote control. OK.

In all remote controlled optioned TVs have an internal circut section and a remotes sensor inside the front panel boad of that TV. The remote control hanset produces infrared rays of differnt frequencies, as we push each of its buttons. The frequency will be entirely different to one an other.
Infrared invisible rays are generated by an LED[ Light Emitting Diode], which fitted on the front side or the remote control hanset, and is directed to the infrared sensor window at the front pannel of the Tv, and will fall onto the infrared sensor inside it, and that sensor will convert these signals to digital format and gives it to the system control Ic to process.
The infrared sensor is a 3 leged element, which can be located inside the front panel of your TV, just back to the infrared window. It may get damaged, or may not get proper volttage. It shuld be replaced, if damaged, or find out the reson for the voltage drop, or no voltage condition.
Normally infrared failure is common. It is not so costly as you think, here in India we can get for about Rs25/= comes about 1/2 US Dollar. Ok.

Before you replace the Infrared Sensor inside your TV, you just check whether the two remotes in your possesion is working or not. Some times there won't be no infrared signals goes from them. That may be also the cause. Isn't it?
An easiest way is there to check this. Certainly you must have a cellphone with camera. Put the phone into camera mode, and point your remote's infrared LED side, that is front side, in front of the camera lens of your phone, and press buttons on the remote control. The most cellphone cameras can detect it and will show the indication of your phone's screen. Mine is an iPhone and it detects well.
If it has, your TVs infrared sensor inside is faulty. You have to resolder it from board, and go for a same type and number. It has a number printed [usually laser print] on it. Insist on it and buy the same and solder it to place. Do not apply more heat to its leges while soldering. Excess heat can damage it. Do it as quick as you can, but must be firm. Ok

There is an infrared sensor inside the tv to receive infrared signals transmitted by the infrared signal generating light emittin diode fixed on your remote control. Either the sensor inside the tv or light emitting diode in the remote controller faulty, remote function will not work. For manual operation troubles, check the wall power socket of plug of the tv is faulty, loose contact etc.

The high voltage power supply is going bad on both units.. Pretty soon, it won't power up at all. For a fact.
Don't try to replace the power supplies, TV's are too cheap.
