Question about Hobart LXiGC Dishwasher
Our commercial Hobart LXI dishwasher will scream and call for detergent & rinse. It will work for a few days and then it will start in again. We changed the squeeze tubes but it still persists. Sometimes if we run it through a few cycles it stops but then for no reason it will start up again. I have called serveral repair services and they don't seem to want to work on it. Any ideas?
I take it, the screaming is a beeping sound from the detergent alarm feature.
The chemical tubes from detergent and rinse run through a sensor board on the rear of the machine. If there is an interuption in the flow, or an air hole in the tube, or wrong chemical, it will trigger an alarm..
Is there a chance when replacing the pump tubes, that they were installed in the wrong direction? They should feed in on the bottom, run clockwise and discharge at the top. Check for restrictions in the flow.
