"No" message appears on player front.

We have a new SD K760 DVD player, and each time we insert a disc we keep getting the same "no" answer on the front of the player, as if it's saying there is no disc inserted when in fact there is. How do we solve it?

Try inserting a cd, almost all dvd players can play cds as well, if it displays the same message you may very well have a defective dvd player, if it plays then you may have a damaged disc. If it plays the cd try a mint condition dvd; also, I'll assume that you know better but in many cases if the dvd player is not defective users are simply loading dvds in upside down. If all this fails return your dvd player to the store or check the warrenty.

I hope this helps, good luck

Dvd in player but display says no disk

Check the regional code of the DVD you want to play. It is at the back of the DVD cover. It should be compatible with the regional code which your DVD player can play. If they are not tallying the disc will not be read

I HAVE A SAMSUNG DVD HR753 WHICH HAS 160 HARD DRIVE

Make sure you are using the right disk IE, DVD-R or DVD+R. Most Newer DVD player's will play DVD-R but very few play DVD+R

Dvd cant read disc

Are you sure it is facing the right direction? Of course, the obvious problem would be if it was scratced. Their are kits you can get to repair scratches, but it would be just as easy to use toothpaste. It would also be a good idea to make sure that the laser is not being blocked by anything, including fingerprints or dust. That will keep it from reading the disc.

Wont recognized disc

I got it work work with mine. Here's how: I removed the top cover and put in a disk to see what happens. I realized it had to be a motor problem because the dvd player was having trouble spinning the disk. I removed the part that had the motor and sprayed some air into it to clean it. It works perfectly now!!

Can only play DVDs for one region code.

Most DVDs can only play DVDs from a single region. However, they sometimes allow you to change the region at least one time. Another option is to make your DVD player region free. This is a hack that can be performed. Once you do this, you can play DVDs from any region.
