Question about Garmin StreetPilot 2610 GPS Receiver
The clicking sound is most likely the Cornice 2GB hard drive going bad. The only solution is return it to Garmin for repair. They will send you a refurbished unit with the lastest maps.
Or you can sell the unit and buy a new Nuvi. The new units uses flash memory.

This seems to be a common problem. Garmin says hardware failure. Someone says clean around the edge of the screen with an electric razor brush. Try this and let us know.... See other problem posted elseware Same problem....
