I have a old Matsonic

I have a old Matsonic Motherboard.
The board is MS7117C.
The bios calendar date says 05/19/2000
I have search several times for a valid update for this bios. I am currently running MS Windows XP Professional on it.
The problem is that it keeps locking up and sometimes does not boot up.
Please help me find the correct bios upgrade for this Matsonic MS7117C.
Bye the way, I already paid for the membership cost to Esupport.com and downloaded the new bios update.......nothing happened. No errors and no problems.........as well as no update.

Hello Richard,
I would first check the capacitors on theboard around the processor. Older boards have a tendency to blow the caps. Check our web site at www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm for what to look for. If you find cab caps you can replace them if you really want to keep running the board. If you find bad caps and have questions just email me.
