Problem for Acer Aspire 5610-4648 (LX.AXZ0X.097) PC Notebook
Acer aspire 5610 touchpad stopped working
I've tried everything to fix it but i couldn't.I've tried to format and change from XP to Windows Vista, updated the touchpad driver from synaptics, nothing work, if somebody can help to solve this problem i will be very greatfull. thanks.

On my acer it is the fn and f7 button pushed together.. that turns the touchpad on and off

There is a button somewhere close to your touchpad that can be used to enable or disable the touchpad.
On the HP pavillion zd8000, it is right at the top of the touchpad with an LED to show its status.
Look around for the button and press once to enable your touchpad.
