Cannot get - there are no authorized dealers, the stock is in Korea, and it is not cost-effective.

Is there a way to have my 2009 Challenger recognize my Sansa e280 via the UCI cord? My car owner's manual says only an ipod has the capability. Is there a driver or software download I can add to my Sansa...

The connector on the bottom of the Sansa is NOT compatible with the connector on the iPod. Sansa does not provide any hardware or software to make their devices emulate another manufacturer's device.

If your car has the appropriate connector, you can connect the Sansa via the headphone jack so you can hear your music through the car's speakers.

copy this address into a new window or tab.
To force your player try this. Sansa e2**v2 1. Turn device OFF. 2. Slide the hold switch to the direction of the headphone jack so an orange color would show putting the device on Hold. 3. Press and hold the ( |<< ) button while connecting the device to the PC.

Hey, I want to connect my sansa to my car jack. It has a usb input, so i can hook my sansa up to it. But the car only wants to read an ipod. Can i get a driver onto my mp3 player so the car will read it?

When the USB jack is connected to unit, it is not possible to use any of its controls. the unit gets charged and a computer is used to add/delete music/videos/pics. I purchased a unit that plugs into the headphone jack and transmits to any nearby FM radio. That way I can use the sansa in my vehicle.

Hello, headphone jack is loose, i have to hold the jack and press ir against an angle to make both chanels work. walter

Hi Walter,

If the headphone jack is loose you can try to use the USB headset (If there is one) or Bluetooth.
If you wanna fix the headphone jack yourself you can find a very good step by step guide here.
The repair service will take about anything from 40$-60$ to repair it.

Good Luck!

Headphone jack does not make a good connection

I have a couple of these players and have found that some headphones do this and some do not, maybe try a different pair and see if they fit any better, if the player is new you could think about returning it.

My sansa e280 will not play on the docking station or computer.

Two problems:
1) Your Sansa (and just about any other mp3 player) will not play while it is connected to the computer - it is only supposed to play once it is disconnected from the computer
2) Your docking station might be for brand-name iPod's only - using an incompatible docking station is one possible way to ruin your player

Get a simpler external speaker system with an audio jack that runs from the headphone jack of Sansa to the input jack of the docking station.
