SOURCE: top works bottom doesn't

I have XL44 oven JGBP26. I replaced the glow ignitore on the oven but still will not glow. I carfully tested the current to the ignitore and showed 125 volts, I also tested the resistance on the control valve lead and to ignitore and showed 1100.

SOURCE: GE gas stove the burners on top work, the oven won't get hot

The most common reason a gas oven won't heat is a bad igniter. It is located near the valve and burner under the oven bottom. You can usually see it glow orange just before the fire lights. Most GE ranges take a cylindrical igniter part #WB2X9154 or #WB13K21 rectangular igniter.

SOURCE: Oven burner flame is low

0000000.jpgOn top of that safety valve is a nut. Get a good fitting wrench. Turn on the oven and use that good fitting wrench on that nut. Turn it counterclockwise till the flame comes up about midways of the flame spreader. Don't get the flames too high. Midways of the spreader now. LOL

SOURCE: KENMORE GAS STOVE OVEN LOWER BURNER WON'T WORK

Most likely a hot-surface ignitor has failed. If it doesn't consume enough current, the gas valve won't open. It's usually a fairly easy fix, once you gain access to the ignitor and have a new one to replace it with. Make sure you unplug the range...

Ge propane kitchen range changed to natural gas.can't get the ove

Hi, Did you flip the cap on top of the regulator? As far as adjusting the bake/broil orfices, all you will nee to do is turn them 2 full turns counter clockwise. Start the oven and watch the flame. It should have blue tips as much as possible.
You might have to raise or lower the orfice adjustment as needed.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

How do you light the pilot on a GE stove The top of the stove works

Hi, If this model has a standing pilot, use a lighter and put the flame to the back center next to the burner assembly. Most newer models have electric ignitors now. It is fastened to the burner assmbly on the laft side.
If this an electric ignitor, turn the oven on and see if the ignitor glows. These ignitors are a very common problem and will probavly need replaced.
Please let me know if I can assist youu further.

Propane not getting to oven... stove top works fine..

The pilot light must be lit and stay lit before you will have any propane coming into the oven. This is a safety feature.
