SOURCE: How to remove old Mueller (1951) wall mount faucet

Faucets are installed from behind the wall and there fore you will need to either cut the sheetrock on the opposing side or cut part of the tile out on the front to gain access to the valve. It is better if you come in from behind as you can build an access panel if you ever need to gain access again.

SOURCE: how to install supply lines for Grohe k4 faucet

I hope this helps.
Step11Turn off the water supply. You'll find a shut-off valve under your kitchen sinkmag-glass_10x10.gif. Once the water is turned off, open up the kitchen faucets to allow the water remaining in the pipes to drain way. Step2Catch the drips by placing a bucket under the hot water supply line, located on the left side of your sink. Even a minimum of water can cause a mess and be potentially damaging. Step3Use a wrench to remove the compression nut that secures the hot water supply line. Let the disconnected section fall into the bucket. Use the wrench to loosen and remove the nut at the other end of the line and remove it as well. Step4Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for the cold water supply line. Step5Replace the cold water supply line. Hand-tighten the nuts on both ends, then use the wrench to tighten the nuts completely. Repeat the process with the hot water supply line. Step6Turn on the water supply and test for leaks

SOURCE: i need to hook up 3/4 cpvc water supply line to water meter

I went to Home Depot for the same reason.Ended up getting a brass fitting with a cpvc insert that excepted the cpvc pipe to be glued into brass fitting once it was screwed in place.Came out about a foot then used a coupler to join both cpvc pipes so in the future I can replace meter without cutting pipe.Im not a plummer just a home owner who cant afford one so I dont know if I did it right but it works.

Samsung fridge ice/water leaking. Can I disconnect it from connection underneath the sink. The connection looks same as washing machine hose screwed into its tap.

If it really is hooked up to cold water under sink, just turn off the supply valve, disconnect the line and cap it off (hardware stores have brass cap off caps for hose lines) and done. PS: most ice makers/water dispensers have a water valve inside the fridge that are similar to washing machines and they fail because debris gets in them. I use an inline filter to prevent this.

How to disconnect sprayer hose on kitchen faucet?

Turn off the water supply valves beneath the kitchen sink. Turn on the faucet and squeeze the trigger on the sprayer to empty any water left in the supply lines, faucet and sprayer.
Trace the sprayer hose from the end of the sprayer to where it connects to the faucet. Use pliers to loosen the connector holding the sprayer hose to the faucet.
Remove the sprayer hose from the faucet to expose the male threads. Wipe the threads dry with a towel. Wrap the threads with pipe-joint tape. Twist a 3/8-inch threaded brass flair cap onto the male threads. Use the pliers to tighten the cap.
Reach beneath the sink and loosen the mounting nut securing the sprayer support to the sink or countertop. Use a basin wrench if you are unable to reach the mounting nut with your hand.
Slide the mounting nut off the hose attached to the sprayer beneath the sink. Pull the sprayer support and the sprayer from the hole in the sink or countertop.
Insert a sink hole cover into the hole left by the sprayer. Depending on the style of hole cover, it could snap in, or a mounting nut could hold it in place.

Things You Will Need
  • Pliers
  • Towel
  • Pipe-joint tape
  • 3/8-inch threaded brass flair cap
  • Basin wrench
  • Sink hole cover

How to do a cold wash on this machine?

If you intend to always use cold water go to any hardware store and get yourself a "Y" splitter for a standard water faucet. Connect this splitter to the cold water faucet on the water connection and connect both lines from the washing machine to the "Y" side of the splitter. Now you will only get cold water to both sides of you washing machine's supply lines.

Sour smelling/ tasting water from bathroom faucet when not used for several hours. Smells like traces in water bottles, which I can bleach or wash in dishwasher. How do I clean possible bacteria from a...

Assuming the problem is right there at the faucet, and not further upstream (which you could verify by taking a little water from the tub faucet), perhaps you could try this--- turn off the water supply then remove the flexible water supply lines from the faucet underneath the sink. These are usually not too hard to remove from the faucet with a basin wrench (less than $10). If it's easy, remove the other end of the flexible water supply lines too. Maybe you should replace these. Otherwise, get the water out of those flexible line, then put some bleach into them. Reconnect to the faucet. Leave the faucet turned off, and turn the water supply back on. Then very slightly turn on the faucet to allow the air out, then turn it off. Leave the bleach to soak for a while (maybe 30 minutes) then flush plenty of water through it. If the smell comes back, there is probably something organic stuck in the faucet and you will have to disassemble or replace it. Good luck.

My washing machine when rinsing the water comes out in a trickle and takes about two hours to fill, it is only 6 weeks new

being a new machine, first thing i would check is the water supply of the faucet feeding the machine. remove machine hoses and run supply water to make sure you are getting normal pressure, like at any faucet. if that is good remove hoses at machine, make sure there was no packaging left on that may have bblocked the line.
