Question about Motorola Mobility H700 Wireless Headset

1 Answer

H700 will not turn on. NO LIGHTS

I have fully charged the device. It shows green after unplugging and trying to use the h700 nothing happens. Will not light up blue, purple ...nothing.
I used this device on 11/19 without any issues. Took it off the charger today and nothing. Please advise. I tried the pin idea as well as making sure the boom is all the way open. No change...NO LIGHTS

Re: h700 will not turn on. NO LIGHTS

I have the same issue. Bought 10 new H700's and 3 of them will not turn on. Still trying to find a fix.

I have a h700 bluethooth and dont have a manual. what color should the light be when connecting to the phone, in use, and charging.

The indicator turns red when charging and turns green when fully charged. The headset will flash in purple when it is in discovery mode (mode where it is looking for a device to be paired with it). If it has already been paired with a device it is blue and then flashes blue when it is paired. The link for the manual is below.

H700 Motorola BT earpeice, no indicator lights aside from a green

Same thing happened to me. I call the support center and if you bought it from a 3rd party, it is probably a software problem. See if you can get a new one or buy it elsewhere.

Make sure that any devices previously paired
with the headset are turned off. If the indicator
light is flashing in blue, turn off the other device,
then close and reopen the headset boom. The
indicator light becomes steadily lit in purple
indicating the headset is now in pairing mode.

It wont turn on

With the boom closed, insert a plugged in charger and make sure the unit is fully charged. The light will turn from amber to GREEN when it is fully charged. Unplug the charger and open the boom. It is now "on".

H700 wont do anything

I think the charger is the problem. I ordered one of these and then it wasn't charging the day I got's supposed to go from red, to orange to green as it charges, but the red LED just goes off after a while, before the headset is fully charged. I solved this by charging it through a USB-to-miniUSB cable on my laptop USB port. This worked beautifully....unfortunately I think the H700 chargers are faulty.

Headset will not turn on

hello to you, ahh yes the wonderful world of moto, it sounds to me like your not letting it charge long enough, when you start the charge it will go red, than after a bit it will go yellow and when fully charged it will go to a real dark green.( some times up to 3 hours, no!! im not kidding,) it amazes me how long it takes. step 2. when you want to put it in discover mode press the call button in till it turns solid purple than pull the mike down real quick and it should stay purple at this point you have 30 seconds to pair that puppy. good luck and you will get used to it. hope you only have one. i have seven.

My motorola H700 keeps staying red when charging

Wait, how long have you waited for it to charge? It's supposed to stay red until over 80% charge, then switch to yellow. When it is fully charged, it goes to green. When you mean it stays red when plugged in, have you waited the 2 hours?
