Why does it always go back to the gigaset blank page two or three times when I am trying to log on to Facebook

might be an issue with your server,? Log off of FB. , then possibly turn your computer OFF then back on. Whether you do a soft restart, or a hard off and then back on and start - it should not matter, then try logging back into Facebook. Good luck.

Follow these steps and we will get the problem resolved. When you are logged into her facebook page, look at the top right. You want to click on "Account" , then click log out. This should bring you to the login page, where you can input your facebook information. After you login, it should take you to your account.

hello yes im afraid this is an ongoing problem with facebook at the moment a breech of your security details is most at fault here with alot of hackers out there its no wonder ,this happened to myself also only a couple of weeks ago the only solution as i tried the same method ,would be to register a new account ,you can try reseting your password there are options to receive activation code by email or by phone ,use the phone code ,you will also need to register a new email address i hope this helps you some all the best goodluck

Your best bet at this point is to go to the Password Recovery Page and fill in your information there.
Once you enter your e-mail address, it will ask you to type a couple of words to prove you're a human being.
The next page will ask if you'd like to reset your password. It will show all the e-mail addresses that have access to the account. You can then send a "reset code" to your e-mail.
If that doesn't work, you can visit their help page for login problems.

Is it always the same? it may be that you have a virus on your computer that is specifically targeting that page. run an anti virus program and also spyware program ( I use AVG Free and Ad-Aware Free) and then something like Ccleaner to fix any registry issues. If that fails, then you may need to contact Facebook themselves to resolve the isue. Hope this helps ;)

you may be logging in at peak times, try other times to access your facebook account.

Try clearing your computers browser cache.

Deleting my facebook cookies worked for me (Firefox 3.5.7)

Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> click the remove individual cookies link, type facebook in the search box, then remove all cookies that match. Then reload facebook, you'll be logged out but log in and should be fine

I have a blank home page, profile page, etc. How can I fix it?

This could be several thing.

Firstly make sure that your autologon or "remember me" is not selected on the logon page. Delete your cookies and make sure that, if using firefox, it isn't remembering your password.

If this sounds too complicated, after the password reset takes you to the logon page, wait a few seconds after your email adress is entered for any autocompletion to occur. Delete any passowrd that is filled in, and use a different password. Even if a password is not filled in, use a different one from previously (you can always go back and change it back to something more memorable once you log in). Don't use any special characters, stick to 0-9 and a-z, and keep everything lower case. Again, you can always change your password to something stronger once you're in your account.

It may sound stupid, but pay attention to simple details like your capslock or numlock being on for your password.

if you are using special characters, double check that you keyboard is mapped properly by opening a blank document and trying out the password.
