Question about Orbit Sprinkler System Power Source Transformer #57040
I have a some Rainbird impulse in ground sprinklers that stick after they complete the clockwise rotation. They will not rebound and occilate back counter clockwise. The "hangy-downy" thing that looks a bit like a paper clip touches the adjuster clip arm but will not trip backwards and make the sprinkler head rotate back counter clockwise. The water pressure appears to be very good. If I stick my finger in front of the piece that catches water (the "chck, chck, chck, sound maker that scatters water) and cause it to travel less distance, the sprinkler gains more strength and trips the reverse mechanism.
How can I fix them so that they work properly and travel both clockwise and counter clockwise without hanging up or getting stuck?
I wouldbet it is a pressure related problem , can you isolate them so you are only running 1 at atime? at least reduce the number of sprinklers running at the same time just to test them, drop the number by1or2 and i`m sure your problem will be fixed youdoit

An impulse sealer heat-seals objects by sending high current on impulse to a heater ribbon, equipped on the surface of the heat-sealing blade, to generate heat that enables thermal-sealing through thermal conductivity. The section to be sealed is placed between the heat-sealing blades, pressed and thermal-fused when current and heat are delivered on impulse through the heater ribbon. After the current stops the seal remains under pressure to cool and to give it a clean finish.
