Neighor has 1996 sentra i have 2001 altima his blinkers dont work but emergency flasher do all fuses relays and switch work tested by pluging them up in mine but go back into his and they dont work any...

i would think that it must be a wiring fault as you have done a thorough test of the components, has there been any work done on the vehicle which may have loosened a connector ?if not its going to be a labourious job of testing wiring from switch to the relay , as we know the wiring from relay is ok as emergency flashers work good luck

1999 isuzu rodeo short from ignition fuse 20 amp how to fix

wire up headlight globe into the fuse position that blows, headlight globe will glow very bright when short is there, careful you dont have globe on things that can melt or burn eg. plastic or carpet etc..glass and area around it gets hot
now everything will work but the circuit that has the short to ground and you wont melt wiring or cause dammage to other components. you now need to disconnect connectors and components one at a time to work out which section of wiring or component has shorted. to work this out a wiring diagram would come in handy. when the globe goes out or is very dim as in filerment element in globe just glows red like heater element short is gone.

My windshield wipers work then dont?

It sounds like you have a wire shorting out.also on most newer models, there are sensors and relays that run everything.check owners manual for wiring diagram.and when its NOT working use test light on all components i.e. relay, sensor, wiper motor. this should help pin point your problem

1998 chrysler town &country brake lights dont work but the 3rd one does

do your dash lights go out too? .. corroded wires (you can do an insulation breakdown test), or its grounding out in the console, but that would most likely blow the fuse. check to make sure u r looking at the right fuse too, wires can be connected to other random components, for example you may find your horn doesnt work either. and being as you have 3 brake lights, it may be possible they are on 2 diff fuses

hope this helps some!

My Samsung DVD TV 15G10 is 3 years old and has functioned perfectly until the other day when I turned it on to view and since have had only sound and no picture. Grateful for any thoughts on how to...

firstly i dont know how the video is hooked up to tv - so if what i recommend doesnt work i would suggest giving more details

if video is hooked up to tv through component video (red, green, blue wires) try checking the green wire- if green wire is bad you will get no video on your screen you can try using one of the other wires to test if you dont have a new component video wire to try

secondly if that doesnt work try hooking the source up to a different input on tv and see if that works

next i would try another source for your video to be hooked up to tv ( maybe a dvd player or something like that)

if all of those tries dont work you might either have had the bulb for the back light go bad ( backlight bulb is usually a flourescent light bulb and it makes the screen get bright so you can see it) or the power supply for either the backlight bulb or the video high voltage go bad in which case i would recommend bringing in for service or just buying a new replacement (they are fairly cheap to buy new now so it might be a better alternative to a repair)

sometimes you can tell if it is backlight problem by making room very dark and look carefully at screen to see if you can see a picture on it - if you see a faint picture on screen then it is definately your backlight that went out

if you need more help write back with as many details you can give me about what wires you have connected things to tv with and what sources you have connected to tv also

good luck!

My headlight dont work wires diconnected also tail light and brak light dont work fuses are good any ideas? I tried everything

not wired properly.. temporarily splice a positive constant wire.. and hook to headlight.. to rule out headlight not working.

mess around with a tester (drawing a blank on actual name) but check to see if you're even getting power down to those components..

Loss of red color using video component cables.

Direct plug the component cables between the plasma to component you are using and see if you get the same problem.
If you dont, add in the receiver. Still dont..its the inwall wiring. :)
