Yes it can be done but it is hard to make it look good. To do it you will need to create a 24 volt control circuit by means of a step down transformer from 120 volt to 24 volt. Next you will need a t-stat normal home style and hang it where you want it. Then you will run t-stat wire from the transformer to the t-stat and then from the t-stat to a contacter switch that has a 24 volt coil on it and it is placed between the ac and your power source. To do this you must either cut the plug off the exist ac cord or replace it with other wire so that you can get it into the contacter on one side and on the other side is power from the wall. So what happens is when the t-stat calls for cool it's switch will close allowing the 24volt to energize the coil on the contacter therby making the connection to 120 volt bringing on the A/C. Hope this helps 2rns4u <*{{{>(

Sound like a defective receiver board. Have this checked. Also check to see that your remote transmits. Hold the top part of the remote to your phone or digital camera lens. press a button and a light should appear on the screen of your phone or digital camera screen.

If the units are close to each other they will both read the same setting. You just have to get the remote really close to the wallmont air handler you want to command.

I have Coleman Heat pump and i want it to conect as AC only any ideas since i changed furnace to gas and the guys dont know how to conect it back as AC only.

Change out the thermostat to a straight cool gas furnace stat.If the reversing valve energizes in cool, simply hook the reversing valve low voltage wire to the yellow compressor wire. If it energizes in heat do not hook it up to anything.

Hi,

You can download the owners manual; here is the link for it.

http://www.generalmanual.com/Air-Conditioners/LG-LA121CNP-Art-Cool-Air-Conditioner.htm

when you get to the page scroll down and you will see Download Now and under that "Owners Manual" just click on it.

I hope it helps.

Thermostat wiring

your best bet and where i would start is to identify where the coulors are conected at the fernace. in the industry we use standard wireing coulors wher green is g for fan and red is rh=switched trans power for heating . rc=switched transformer power for cooling . now normaly there is only one transormer so you would put a jumper from rc to rh and conect the red wire from the furnace to eather of these.jumper installed. the y is your cooling witch is normaly the yellow wire. o on the stat is for a heat pump if you nead to energize reversing valve in cooling mode . w is first stage heating and this can be conected to eather brown or white youll have to check at the furnace to see witch it is . the final wire eather brown or white should be conected to c or 24v common witch you didnt say you see on the thermostat. once again
red to rc and rh
green to g
yellow to y
brown or white to w
brown or white to common or c

please post feadback hope i was of help
