Question about Frigidaire Washing Machines
First I would check the belt. Make sure it has good tension and looks ok. No visible damage or anything. If the belt is ok then have the clutch replaced. This is usually the culprit. Once the clutch wears down to a point it can't maintain enough pressure to spin at full speed and begins to slip. This is why it only spins slowly. The whole thing shouldn't cost more than about $150 or so. Hope this helps. Good luck.
