Question about Megatronix - PASSLOCK-SL2 - GM Passlock Data Bypass Kit - Self Learning Byp
I have a 1973 Chevy Caprice. One day after arriving home, i tried to turn the car off and the key wouldn't turn back to the off position. . . and the car kept running. I had to disconnect my distributer and batteries to get the car to turn off. Now the key will not come out of the ignition or turn to the off position. HELP. . .!
Spray a generous amount of wd40 or similar penetrating lubricant into the ignition cylinder. now take a hammer and tap the back of the key (not too hard, but be convincing) continue alternating between spraying and tapping until the key turns.
