Maytag gas dryer. Loud buzzing sound when flame comes on. Buzzing stops when gas valve off. Replaced solenoids twice. Dryer works but the buzzing is annoying. Do I need to replace gas valve assembly?

My gas dryer makes a loud buzzing sound when the gas come on how do I fix it?

This noise can be caused by the solenoid valve that controls the gas flow to the burner. If the dryer is not getting hot then the valve needs to be replaced. Depending upon the age and manufacturer the valve may be an integral part of the burner assembly.

Ge front load gas dryer is making a loud buzzing noise while the flame is on

the gas valve coils are either weak and vibrating or the gas valve itselfs interior components are loose and vibrating

My Maytag Gas Dryer makes a loud buzzing noise when the ignighter and flame come on

thats a good sign the valves that those coils you replaced sit on are getting bad and you will sooner or later need a brand new gas valve

Kenmore Elite He3 gas dryer (110-92832100) not heating. Igniter glows red for a min or so, drum spins, hear a loud 'buzzing' noise....

The problem could be flame radiant sensor or in most cases the gas valve solenoid coils sitting on top of the gas valves. The radiant sensor must be aligned perfectly with the igniter. The radiant sensor contacts bypasses one of the gas valve solenoid coils and as the igniter heats up it makes the sensor contact trips unbypassing the coil and allowing the gas to flow and be ignited.

The problem is with the solenoid coils,
one with 2-prongs and the other has 3, if the radiant sensor is aligned with igniter and working perfectly but no gas is ignited. The buzzing sound is coming from the coils trying to operate the valves. Replacing both coils is the simple and only viable solution.

My Maytag Bravos dryer is brand new. It is the quiet series 300, but is the loudest dryer I have ever owned. It makes like a loud vibrating, humming noise. Is this normal? I am now drying my second load of...

People, the first words the poster said were that the dryer was "brand new". All of your suggestions assume the dryer had extensive use. This sounds like a factory defect issue!!!! My brand new Maytag Cabrio gas dryer is also making an obnoxious buzzing sound that seems to cycle on and off as the gas ignites. The buzzing sounds electronic not mechanical. What would buzz when the burner is active?

Whirlpool dryer makes buzzing sound when flame should start.

Sounds like the valve is trying to open and the buzzing is the restriction of it opening. Coil is obviously correct, but actual solonoid is sticking. Replace it and see. If flame isnt detected, it will stop.

Maytag gas dryer noise when burner comes on

The noise you are describing is coming from the gas valve solenoid coil assembly. This is usually indicative of weak coil.
If this is a warranty situation, request a factory authorized certified technician to replace the solenoid assy. at no charge.
If you want to fix it yourself, be sure and ask us for instructions on replacing the part safely.
