This truck does not have an ICM (ignition control module). This engine uses a FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module) and PCM or ECC (engine control computer). If there is anything else please write back. Good Luck.

Why does my door locks keep jumping up and down when I'm driving in my 2002 Ford Explorer XLT

This could be the door switches that are wearing out. IT could also be the relay that is bad. In rare cases it is the electrical control module.

I have a 99 ford explorer and the power windows have stopped working fuse and relay are good. I can't locate the power window module, any suggestions would be helpful.

Same thing happened to my drivers side. I have a 1999 Ford Explorer XLT. Mechanic found a broken wire in the wiring boot that runs from the door to the body. Spliced wire back together. Fixed the problem.

I bought a 1998 ford explorer xlt and it has a keyless entry but need to know the code to set my own code.

In the back of your explorer cargo area there is a BCM or Body Control Module. Part of your main wiring harness goes to it. Remove the trim pieces and there should be a code written on it. It should be the code unless the previous owner changed it. good luck.

Check the fuse panel first, after that check your fuse relays under the hood, if not then it might be a wiring problem.

2002 Ford Exlorer XLT

That year Explorer was notorius for rear ABS sensors going bad. If your ABS light is on as well this may be your problem. Also they were notorious for 4WD modules going bad. This problem is more expensive. I would advise you to have it checked on a computer to see what codes you have.

I had same problem on my 2002 explorer. Its either the computer module, or the electric solenoid on the transfer case. In my case it was both. The computer module I had done twice in 14 months.
