Question about Nikon Coolpix 775 Digital Camera
Don't take it apart yourself, unless you have spent time repairing camera lenses. The tabs that fit into the grooves for the Focus and telescoping mechanism have popped loose from the grooves. This means the lens assembly must be either repaired or replaced. It is extremely difficult to attempt a repair on this assembly. Your best bet for getting this fixed is to send it in to a certified Nikon repair facility. Below is a link to a list of facilities across the country.
