Question about iLO 2600 Television
We have an ilo MTS Stereo TV and we have had it about 1.5 years. It started yesterday; the TV turns off after being on for only a few minutes. We live in an RV park, and thought that there might be another RV with the same TV and the same frequency on the remote. So we put a container of liquid in front of the IR sensor to stop the signal from getting through, but it didn't work because it turned off again. I checked it this morning and it was doing it then, and then just now when I came home from work. It is still doing it.
Make sure there is no timer set on the TV.
What model is the TV and what connection is in the back?
If you have it connected to a VGA / DVI or HDMI the resolution setting maybe too high and this can cause the TV to turn off usually due to overheating. Also a good thing is to unplug the TV from the power mains and clean out with a cannister of air.
