Question about Fellowes 3011001 Shredder
Last week our paper shredder started to make this noise where it sounds like a jack hammer. Then it stopped working. We unplugged it and then an hour later plugged it back in. It started working but is still making the noise. We looked for any stuck paper but can't see any. We also tried putting in those lubricated sheets but that did not help.
Any other ideas?
This is more than likely a broken gear in the motor area. You may be able to purchase a gear kit for the machine. Call manufacturer Customer Service. If it is a Fellowes product I gurantee we will help you the best we can.
