THIS SOUNDS LIKE A LOW BATTERY PROBLEM, IF THE BATTERY VOLTAGE FALLS BELOW A SET LIMIT U LOOSE THE KEEP ALIVE MEMORY, DO U HAVE A HOME CHARGER FOR THIS UNIT? IF SO DOES IT LOOSE MEMORY HOOKED TO THAT? IF BATTERY IS NOT ISSUE YOU HAVE A CIRCUIT BOARD ISSUE AND YOU WILL NEED TO SEND IT TO GARMIN FOR AN EXCHANGE DEVICE, GO TO MYGARMIN.COM FOR FURTHER HELP, U MUST REGISTER YOUR DEVICE TO USE THIS WEB SITE, IT IS FREE.

leave it hooked up overnight and if it still loses memory then you are going to need to return it for repair or exchange, but if the unit is over 2 years old that is about it for the battery life.

How to activate date/time stamp on nikon d90

The D90 won't deface your photos by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However, the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every image in what's called the EXIF data. Just about any photo printing program will allow you to include some of this data when printing the photo. Depending on the program and printer, you can print this data on the picture, in the margins, or on the back.

Emachines E627 laptop won't turn on, but the power button is blue.

Switch ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode' by continuously tapping F8 button after you switch On until you get the Safe Mode Option.

Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click 'System Restore'

A 'System Restore' window will appear.

Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next

Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '

Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.

The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.

After reboot your problem should be resolved.

Zoom part does'nt get in when turned off.

Try removing the batteries (at least) overnight and putting them back in later; there are circuits that operate with extremely low currents that may be 'remembering' its condition. These things can keep time and date for ages so there are things active inside even when not in use. I know Xmas is coming but you still have a couple of days to let it 'rest' without batteries and that may cure your problem. Good luck-

Date time setting does not program

There is not an option to remember the date/time when you power off the camera. The camera should always remember the time. If it forgets the setting when you power it off then your backup battery has gone dead. Check your manual to see if it is something you can replace yourself. I am not familiar with this camera specifically but some cameras make the backup battery accessible and some require disassembly. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
