Radio lock out codes are security related to discourage theft, so they are not published on the internet, if they were what would be the point?? any thief could get the code after stealing your radio. Contact the dealer for instructions an what info u need to get your cars unique radio code. SORRY.

Contact the dealer that sold the car, he may not charge you.

Also look everywhere. Even the fuel door. Look for a 4 to 6 digit code. Some dealers will pick a spot on the cars they sell and place the lock codes their. It makes it easier for their techs.

Unfortunately without the code the radio cannot be activated and you will need to go to a ford dealer to access the code if it is still in their system for which there will be a fee charged. Every radio has its own individual code. You will need to supply them with the vehicle details including the Vehicle Identification Code (VIN).

This code is telling you of an ECS module fault.
An ECS module fault could be caused by:

- the internal accelerometer not operating properly.
- the backup power supply not operating properly.
- an internal module circuit fault detected.
- a microcontroller RAM/ROM/EEPROM fault.

Before doing any of the above, disconnect the vehicles battery and Remove the main connection off of the ECS and clean with electrical connection cleaner, then reinstall, then check the connectors and wires under the seats - these fail all the time.
After checking and cleaning reconnect battery.

I recently had my Ford Au Series II XR6 ute repaired and the radio does not have any power other than a red light on, there is no repsonse even pushing buttons ?

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Ford service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

I drive a 93 GMC Sonoma p/u. I drove out of town and noticed that the radio was not working. Next the service engine soon idiot light lit up. Once on the highway, the spedometer was not working. Hmmmm

It is possible that there may be a battery/charging system problem (in which case, the next step will be that the engine will not run). Then again, you may have separate problems. The radio not working and the Check Engine light turning on might not be related at all. However, a failed Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) or open/shorted VSS circuit would make the speedometer quit working AND cause the Check Engine light to come on.

Proper diagnosis is the only way to find out for sure.

I would BEGIN by performing a thorough battery/charging system test. Then you need to scan your onboard computer to find out WHY it has turned the Check Engine light on. This should be done BEFORE the battery cables are disconnected for any kind of charging system or battery repair. Once the cables are disconnected, the computer memory will be lost and you will not get any codes to tell you why the computer has turned the light on. You MAY have a charging system-related code like "Voltage Low At Module" or you MAY have a totally different code like "VSS Circuit Open or Shorted". You need to find this out before making ANY repairs.
However, if the charging system tests faulty and/or you have any charging system fault codes, ALL fault codes should be recorded and the battery/charging system problem needs to be dealt with FIRST. (you cannot trust what the computer is telling you if there are charging system faults.) If after this, any symptoms persist, diagnosis of any other fault codes retrieved should be performed.

If all engine control problems are resolved and your radio still does not work, you need to diagnose your radio circuits as a separate problem.

When I put a new fuse in the panel for my turning lights there are sparks and blows the fuse

I that case the fuse is behaving exactly as designed. There is an electrical fault, most likely a short circuit, which is putting an unsafe current load through the circuit concerned. Without the fuse you'd burn out the circuit and maybe have a fire.

With all due respect, the simple fact that you've asked this question to start with confirms that you lack the knowledge to fix this safely yourself.

You'll need to get the vehicle to an automotive electrician to isolate and repair the underlying fault. Until you do so, disconnect the earth lead from the battery (the black cable) when the vehicle is left parked, but make sure before doing so that you have any radio security codes written down. If you don't, then disconnect anyway and worry about getting the codes from Ford later.

How to read engine cose 1990 ford escort 1.9

On board diagnostic (OBD) was designed on vehicles equipped with electronic fuel injection so you can generally retrieve the codes yourself. No need buying a scanner or running to any parts stores to check the engine light. This system is called obd1 and applies to most vehicles made before 1995 for domestics and 1993 on imports.
Ford owners can check their check engine light using the diagnostic connector located at the engine compartment by the fender near the battery. Getting the obd1 codes need a couple of tools: a 4 inch long gage 16 jumper wire and a 12 volt test light. Both tools are hooked up to the diagnostic connector and when the IGNITION KEY is turned on (without starting engine) the codes will begin to flash in the test light, not in the dash panel. If there is no code, you will normally get code 11 or 111. On Fords, there are 2 test modes, the KOEO (key on engine off) and the KOER (key on engine running). Both test modes should be used to get the accurate evaluation of the stored fault codes.
Most of the codes can be erased or cleared by disconnecting the battery negative terminal for 1 minute and reconnect. Just make sure to check your service manual in case you have electronic equipment such as radio or clock that needs reprogramming in which battery disconnection is not recommended. Finally after performing repairs on the culprit code, always go for a road test to confirm if the problem is fixed.
