SOURCE: 2001 volvo s40 trouble code P0015

This is a common issue particularly with vehicles that have had some neglect to the oil change routine. The VVT solenoid on the top of the valve cover gets clogged with thickened or sludged oil.

Replace the VVT solenoid and gasket with a new unit and clear the codes.

Replace timing belt and balancer belt now have no spark on a 2001 Hyundai sonata 2.4

Make sure all electrical connectors are in fact connected, especially on the transmission side of the engine, under the air boxes and ductiing. Signals from the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor(s) are what tell the ECM to fire the spark plugs and fire the fuel injectors.

No spark 1999 volvo s 80 but has fire to inj..but wont spray

what have you actually got

no spark is from cam/crank position sensors faulty, faulty ignition control module
but you say fire to injectors -- do you mean power to injectors
if you have power but the injectors are not squirting---low /no fuel pressure = faulty fuel pump / no power to pump , faulty pressure regulator , pump relay problem
At this point check for a broken timing belt/ chain

I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 5.3 V8 4WD. Replaced the crankshaft sensor, and it will fire, and get a spark, but wont fully start. What other sensors should I check/replace? Camshaft sensor?

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. Check your timing belt/chain first. Check all of your fuses also, just in case. The camshaft is a possible cause to your issue. The signal may not be getting back to the computer. In order to find the issue, you will need to get a voltage meter to test the parts of the ignition system. Make sure the spark is a good spark, as well as the fuel pressure.

2001 tiburon won't start i have replace the fuel filter plugs cables coil pack fuel pressure regulator. i don't know what else to do. may be is the timing belt

sorry your tiburon won'y start and you have spent so much money with no results.so lets start with basics, is battery voltage at least 12 volts and does the engine crank over ?, next do you have fuel pressure of 50 psi and good volume?remove a fuel injector electical connector and test for injector pulse.then perform a fuel pressure drop test on each inj.this will tell you if they are spraying.do you have good spark at all the sparkplugs? perform a compression test, spec is 203-218 psi. next you will need to check camshaft timing by bring # 1 cyl. to tdc on the compression stroke and checking the timing marks on the crank and camshaft gears.wish you the best let me know the results.

Volvo s40 1.8 gdi excessive fuel consumption

You're going to have to figure out what's causing the misfire. The car is almost 10 years old, so change the plugs to start with. If you still have a misfire, go to auto zone and have them pull the codes to find out which cylinder is the issue. Then figure out fuel or spark? Coil or injector? Was there a lean code? Check for a vacuum leak. Change the fuel filter and air filter for maintanence. The cruise control may be another issue.
