Problem for Quasar VM-L450 VHS-C Analog Camcorder
DEW indicator / battery
DEW indicator comes on and camera shuts down when operating on battery only. I took battery out, operated camera on DC (plugged into wall), and camera worked fine. No DEW indicator. I put battery back in, DEW indicator comes back on, and camera shuts down again. Battery is one that came with camera (Viewcam Z Li-ion battery, Model #BT-L226U). Camera used very little prior to this problem. Any help appreciated.

In your owners manual on page 52 you will find a list of authorized service centers. Give the one in your area a call. Give them the brand name and model number of the camcorder. Tell them you are having a problem with the dew warning coming on while using the camera with the battery. They should be able to help find a answer to this problem.You can also call the panasonic customer support telephone number at 1-800-211-7262 between the hours of 9am-7pm EST. Give them the brand name and model number of the camcorder and ask them for help with the problem of dew indicator coming on while in use with the battery. I hope this information helps you with your camcorder problem.
