Hi john804:
Thanks for the reply. Here is your problem.

The printhead is stuck in the tilt position by the tilt arms. The process motor gearbox being out of sync can also cause this error.
1. Reboot the printer.
2. Verify the lock arms rotate correctly.
3. Check for spilled ink around the printhead.
4. Check the process motor gears for damage. Ensure the
process gears are correctly aligned and homed.
5. Verify the process gear box, process shaft, and drive
module shaft are at home position.
6. Verify the headtilt gear will engage, see the home
positioning procedure on page. You can manually
engage the headtilt gear.
7. Run the Tilt Axis Drive test.
8. Run the Process Motor test.
9. Run the Head Maintenance Clutch test, if the test fails
replace the clutch.
10.Run Wiper Drive test. If this fails inspect the wiper
drive system.

Hope this helps

How d I swith passenger side mirror on a power mirror on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited edition

no symptoms posted (broke glass or ???) can we be on same page?
"how do I switch," verb switch , the mirror as switches inside, too.

please say what that word means. switch and the failure.
1: remove and replace with new.
2: move right to left and left to right side.

why would you do that #2
fold away mirrors/ Export only (this is usa forum so..)
these,NASA grade mirrors are very complex... not just glass and plastic. heaters ,motors, memory , etc.

the FSM cover all tests for the mirror, including scan data.

ill quote the FSM now , 8 steps (just 1 fail, not heat, not memory failure or fold failure)
(1) If the one inoperative mirror is on the passenger
side, go to Step 2. If the one inoperative mirror is
on the driver side, go to Step 3.
(2) Check if the passenger front door will lock and
unlock using the power lock switch on the driver side
front door. If OK, go to Step 3. If not OK, go to Step 6.
(3) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable. Remove the trim panel from the front door.
Disconnect the 12-way mirror wire harness connector
from the door wire harness connector.
(4) Using two jumper wires, test the mirror as
shown in the Mirror Test chart (Fig. 2). If the mirror
tests OK, go to Step 5. If the mirror does not test
OK, replace the faulty mirror.
(5) Disconnect the 12-way door wire harness connector
from the door module connector receptacle.
Check all of the circuits of the door wire harness
between the connector for the mirror and the connector
for the door module for opens or shorts. If all of
the circuits are OK, replace the faulty door module.
If any of the circuits are not OK, repair the open or
shorted circuit(s) as required.
(6) Use a DRB scan tool and the proper Diagnostic
Procedures manual to test and repair the faulty Programmable
Communications Interface (PCI) data bus
communication between the two door modules.

(bar stool answer) all cars. mostly
pull door skins
unplug motor conn.
unscrew mirror base from door.
extract mirror,

Replaced door lock on front load wash still hav Fdl code and door wont lock

I had the same problem you have and did the same thing, replaced the lock. Whirlpool must be making a million on all the door locks people are replacing. The problem is on the CCU circuit board, not the door lock. There are bad solder joints, also called cold solder joints, on the circuit board where the spade connectors and relays (5 of them) are supposed to be soldered tightly to the board. Do you remember the PINK wires going to a plug on the door lock? Those wires go directly to the spade connectors then pass the door lock info on to the relays. The cure is to remove the CCU case with circuit board, it's easier that way. Then remove the board and touch-up those joints I mentioned. The CCU case is located in the machine at the top in the back. You will break off some of the plastic tabs on the case, it seems whirlpool used the same bad quality control in their plastics division as they did in the manufacture of their circuit boards. If you're not up on your soldering techniques, you can remove the CCU case, with board, and take it along with this response to a good appliance repair shop and they should be able to help you out. Good luck.

My kenmore is showing an f 06 code

F06 is a communication error between the central control circuit board and the motor control circuit board, Check the wire harness that goes to all your connectors on the Motor, MCU, and CCU. I have seen a loose wire connector do this F06 error.

If all checks ok, then its like a faulty CCU, check your owners manual, some are covered under warranty for up to 5 yrs.

How do you pull the board out with the convergence chip on at as it is still attached by a hose type connection. if anyone can talk me through steps that would be a god send. James

If you are asking about that TV that has convergence board on lower front and it has hose type connection wires then remove screws of aluminum heat sink sheet that holds D board and convergence chips and take it off from TV front, hose type connection wires has enough length, approx 2 feet, to bring that board in front of you for soldering work.

If your TV is Sony KP-51HW40 as question shows its model then it has D board at rear, convergence chips are mounted with aluminum heat sink on D board, unplug connectors on D board but do not unlock plastic lock rings that hold hose type connection wires as that will help you to replug connectors in right connectors.
remove screws on D board that holds it with plastic chassis underneath, unlock few locks on its sides and take it out.
Hope that info will help you.

96 Honda Civic 4 door sedan back passenger window doesn't work with master switch on drivers front door but it does work with the button on the back door. Also front passenger window doesn't work at all...

the wires at the door jamb connector get brittle and crack and break, causing all manner of oddities. and it can certainly be intermittent. like your window rolls down with the door open, but does nothing if the door is closed. wires may need to be repaired or replaced with that molex style plug/connector in the door

Maytag MAH5500B - shows Lr on screen and stops

shy, Lr is the error for a locked rotor. The machine is trying to run the motor but is unable. Usually this the motor control board that is at fault. The first thing to do is make sure the belt is on. After that some tests are have to be made to determine what is going on. Im going to lay out some instructions in case you want to get into this thing. You will have to remove the door by removing the screws holding the hinges on. Same thing for the spacers on the other side. Lift up and remove the door. Pull the front panel forward and lift off. Once the panel is off, set the door back on and close it. Unplug the washer. On the motor control board, bottom right, pull the JP4 harness connector from the board. Plug the washer back in and make sure the door is closed. Press delicates and heavy soil 3 seconds to activate the service mode. Now press the rinse key. Make sure the door is locked by pressing the max extract key. Now press the stain cycle to start motor control test. The motor should run rotating the drum at 50rpms. If the motor doesn't run, check for voltage at the 3 wire harness, MN4, should be 120V. If you don't have the voltage, problem is in the main board. If you have that voltage, then the problem lies either in the motor control, or motor itslelf. On the motor harness, 7 pin connector on the board (middle). Between the brown, white and black wires should all read 6 to 7.5 ohms. Between the 2 grays 150 to 195 ohms. If that checks, then it's the board. If it doesn't check, it's the motor. Ohm checks should be done with the power off. Catriver.
