You can download a copy of the service manual from here
    http://ekse.pp.fi/Fx/SRVM/

Open the page, then right click on the model number and select Save File As, save it to your desktop, then you can open it on your computer. if you can't open the manual you need a pdf reader get one from herehttp://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/ its the free download.

Be REAL CAREFULL on the PCB where the front switches are attached to, do not rip the ribbon cable.
Look for bad caps, bad lamp will cause it to draw too much current which will shutdown the inverter circuits, more likely the power supply is not feeding enough voltage to the inverter circuits due to bad caps. Or you may have bad solder works at the lamp assemblies. Lamp asemblies are not easy to remove!

Do not remove the front bezel completely, just enough on three side then lay the monitor face down then snap open the back otherwise you will damage the cables.

I have a jvc hd52z585. while watching tv it turned off and the lamp light and the power light are blinking at the same time. i have unplugged the tv for a couple of hours. when i plugged it back in it does...

very easy.
there is 1 thumb screw behind left speaker grill.unscrew it to remove the grill.the lamp is behind that.after changing the lamp,go in to CUST.MENU,scroll down to reset lamp timer. Best price for lamp is pureglare.com. Inspect the lamp for internal glass particles for 100% verification of being bad. Also at the root of the glass stem in the middle look for bubbling of the glass. This is another sign of a bad lamp.

I need to replace a foglamp bulb right side.I have fairly easy access to & can see the rubber housing for the bulb, but cannot figure out how to remove it.Do I need to rermove the entire assembly in...

Typically the fog lamp is located in the front bumper assembly. It's usually fairly easy to access and replace these.

Place the car is park, secure parking brake. Use a creeper to scoot under the front end of the car, look up into the bumper. Located the backside of the fog lamp holder. You would usually grab and twist counter clockwise about an inch, then pull straight out. Push in on the bulb while turning counter clockwise until it pulls out of the lamp holder.

These fog lamps usually have a little bit of cushioning grease in the socket. Do not remove the grease or connectivity problems will result with the new fog lamp. Push the new bulb in, turn clockwise until bulb stops turning, release hand pressure.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Sony KDS-60A2000 60 in. HDTV Television turns on green and then turns to 3 red blinks a pause and then three blinks again. No picture on screen.

Lamp door is not attached properly (all the way) or lamp door switch is bad (less probable case). Remove lamp door. Locate pin that pushes into lamp door switch. Figure out where it pushes, find switch lever over there. Check if it's broken. Than re-install lamp door carefully and secure with attached screw. Make sure also that lamp door is not melted/deformed in any way. If yes - it's got to be replaced with new one.
Regards.
Russ.
