Kenmore Oasis Dryer Model 7704 F 2 Error

I just returned from vacation to find that my dryer is not working. When I follow the normal start process once the "start" button is pushed the F 2 error flashes and the dryer will not run.

The Dryer was purchased in Sept 2006 so is just out of warranty and Sears will not offer any assistance over the phone.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Geo

After haveing read through some blogs here, the F02 code is either a short in the interface board or the ribbon is loose. I'm having a similiar problem, mine started beeping all by itself, when it was not even turned on, am presently running a load through and is doing fine so far, also, I had unplugged the dryer last night, not sure if that helped but so far is working properly, other advise I read was to make sure the ribbon was seated properly, next step for me will be to do that then order the part (?), sorry I can't be more helpful

2004 camry ac light blinking and throws hot air. Suggestions?

My 2003 Toyota Camry AC often starts blowing hot air and the AC light starts blinking. I don't know why the following process works, but it does. Using the temp selector (left) reduce the temperature all the way down to Max Cold and then push the Auto button. It will start blowing out very cold air. After a little while push the temp selector to the desired temperature.

I just bought the armani ar0142 but the second hand doesn't work. Is this normal?

Take closer look and you will notice the small seconds hand which should be working. The dig seconds hand actually is chronometer hand and will work only when the chronometer function is engaged. Push the top button once=chronometer will start. Push the top button once more=chronometer will stop. Push the bottom button once=chronometer will return to zero. Rate me, please.

The timer was a little tough to get started sometimes, I'd have to pull the knob out and push it back in several times before it would start.

The start switch is going out. You will have to replace the whole timer on this model. Check the first 2 numbers of your serial number if it is 10 - 15 the part number is 33002855 if the first 2 numbers are 16 or greater the part number is 33002803. Please rate me after reading.

The stop watch can only be set in motion if the

Dryer turns off as soon as I release the Start Button

there is a relay that is not doing its job...it is supposed to "take over" as the button holder, but the relay has problems. find the relay by following all wires to/from start switch. Once found, read it looking for letters "NO" (normally open). If 2 of those wires traced earlier go to NO connections, first see if the relay has 2 more unused NO connectors. If it does, swap the wires over to those. If not, replace the relay.
