Dyer not turning at all - Kenmore Dryers

You will need to replace the motor. Here is the new motor to order.

You either have a bad motor or start switch. You might also have a wiring problem.

dyer will not start with start button,but will run with cycle button in cycle when you turn it to the cycle want

check vent line,either check outside to see if flapper is blowing open or disconnect vent line from back of dryer and see if it helps.if not there are two thermostats Number: 660036 Substitution: 279048 and
Number: 3387134 ,this one is on blower wheel housing and the other is in the back,take back wall off and you'll see it on right hand side on heater vent duct

try changing the resistor. it moves the timer motor
