I transffered videos of format MP4 but when i play it on my walkman, it says that the format is not supported. I tried to convert it with videora ipod convertor, any video converter and AVS converter but...

When it comes to video formats there is also video encoders... Video encoders can be different inside any format and for example mp4. When converting a file go to advanced options and change the encoder codec, just mess with it will a video becomes watch able on your mp4.

What does unknown format mean? Why can't i play music?

what this means is that you are trying to play an audio file on your mp3 player that is not supported by the player and thus it will not play. in order to make the audio file in question play, you will need to convert it into a readable format that is listed by the player it's self. to do this, find out what type of audio file it is (this can be determined be the file extention [.mp3, .mp4, .wav, .m4a, .flac] assuming your computer is set to allow you to see it. though most operating systems will display the file type in the info bar.) then search for "[insert format here] to mp3 converter" and purchase the software required. most of this software is relatively cheep and works on more than one file type.

You need to use an Audio media converter. Songs on audio CD/DVD are normally in Wave format .WAV which may not be support by your Player which normally would like .MP3 or .WMA formatted files. There are many 'free' media converter one of which is an Open Source one as follows:
Just remember that the not all selected encoding (such as Bit rates, Fix or Vriable format) even .MP3 will work: just look at the properties of one of your best song and use same/similar encoding.
Have fun!

How do I load a dvd onto my walkman.

First off get the arcsoft media converter 3, then drag and drop the videos you want to get on your mp3 player into the program, after it converts it loads them onto your mp3 player as long as it?s connected, this program will also allow you to download YouTube videos and put them on your mp3 player too.

Want to creat good quality avi videos for my mp3 player

Looking at the specs, this is a pretty nice player and appears to play multiple mpeg4 formats (divx, xvid h264). I'm not positive it can support all codecs, but, since the player doesn't specify, we should start with the assumption that it can.

The unit comes with encoder software and I've used it before, but, have never been impressed with the capabilities or flexibility of the encoder. I'm going to start you off with a very flexible encoder / editing program. With this, and once you know the basics, you can experiment with multiple settings. But first, you need to download a few codecs and install them to your computer. Before you go any further, download these 3 programs and install.

How do you put movies dvds and videos on your mix max mp3 player?

I think I've covered this one before... not sure though so here we go...
First of all DVD's are copyrighted and digitally encoded so that they can't be copied to your computer or other devices. Windows Media Player can't rip them because of this encoding. Not only that if you were somehow able to copy it to the player the Mix Max can't play DVD formatted videos, it can only play WMV (Windows Media Video) formatted videos that are properly "encoded" for play on the Mix Max.
Check out the link below for how to properly encode your videos for play on the Mix Max.
It has a PDF download with instructions on how to properly encode videos so that they will play on the Mix Max.
