Can't find battery on my lawn mower.

Margaret, you plug your charger into the battery, the lead or connection for charger is attached to battery and that is where battery is located. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck Battery is # 74 in link picture.

your mower should have come with a charger. if you don't have a charger take down the make model and serial number and contact your nearest dealer to purchase. also, you could have a dead or damaged battery, charger could be faulty. hope this helps.

If you think your riding lawn mower has blown a fuse, trying to locate that fuse may be the most challenging step in replacing it. While different lawn mower manufacturers have located the fuse holder in different areas of the lawn mower, the best place to start looking is near the mower's battery, according to Sears.

Some manufacturers have made it easy to find the fuse holder. Simply lift the hood. The fuse holder is molded into the metal right inside the hood, near the battery. Batteries need to be kept warm and charged,on a regular basis,this is where a "Float Charger" comes in handy to monitor battery voltage while in storage ,I'd bet the ranch your battery is toast,but any auto parts store could LOAD test it for you ,Good luck !

when a engine has factory electric start it will have a charging system but it is only a couple amps keep in mind a small mower battery is only good for a couple years
