My iPhone is locked I did an upgrade and when it finished took me back to requesting Initao password I purched the phone years ago can you Pls help me?

Request for subsidy password means the phone is locked to one particular firm eg Virgin or 02, and you've put a different brand of SIM in it.
Subsidy Password is the same as an Unlock Code.
Suggest you either put a SIM in the phone that's the same phone company as the original and therefore works with a locked phone, or request an unlock code from teh original service provider, or try using 84512461 as a Subsidy Code.
yeah its going to say "call for emergency" if it was only upgraded it now needs to be Activated. Jailbroken and Unlocked. If you have a mac I would STRONGLY SUGGEST you do a search for iPlus 2.0b and if windows then ZiPhone 2.5
If you have an unlocked pghone and whilst on itunes it asks you to update to tht version you must click nor or else it will lock i don't know how to fix this problem you will need to contace apple or get it unlocked again.
U have to go online to reset it or it should ask u if u want to reset it
