I have a vaillant vrt 350f thermostat and since having a power cut it is not working and the receiver light is not on and when pressed doesn't come on. Please help

Remove and reinstall new batteries to the thermostat. Cut Power to the boiler for 10 minutes.

Is this a programmable thermostat. If not then it will not work

It does that with weak batteries - try replacing with fresh batteries.

Press left key

Scroll till page 15

Code will say 000 - should be 1000

Press right key once change first digit to 1

Press right key again

Will be on C1 in top right hand corner

Scroll through C pages till A1

Two A1 pages looking for one that says de..utch

Click right key once and change to d.. English

no heat demand from external controls clamp 3-4open ,its on the error codes in the hand book or you can down load one from there web site

Sounds like your thermalcouple may be failing, replace that
