SOURCE: GE Profile double Built-In Oven error Code

According to the GE User manual... any F# error code means you have a function error and they suggest you press the CLEAR/OFF pad and allow the oven to cool for one hour. Then put the oven back into operation. If the function code repeats, disconnect all power from th eoven for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect it.. If it still comes back.. call for service.. however it has been my observation that F0 is usually a shorted off key on the keypad. Hope this helps..

hey - I figured it out! hold down the 9 and 0 at the same time for 3 seconds! or it might be another combination depending on your oven - it is probably the 2 keys that the messge is under

SOURCE: GE Profile gas range - stove works, oven doesn't heat

Set the oven for bake. Wait a couple minutes and look in the oven. If you see a orange glow the ignitor is working, but, may need to be replaced.
If you see no orange glow the ignitor definitely needs to be replaced.

Error code F760 GE profile oven

Hello. The error code refers to a defective keypad. I will absolutely need the entire model number(ex JS968BF1BB thru 6BB, JS968BK1BB thru 5BB, JS968KF1CC thru 6CC, JS968KK1CC thru KK5CC, JS968SF1SS thru SF6SS), and there are a few more model series.
The part mounting, etc. is basically the same--HOWEVER, depending on the model, the part number is different. (example JS968BF1BB touch panel is WB27T10439. JS968BK1BB touch panel is WB27T10751 and so on). Just looking on the net, I saw prices for this part in the neighborhood of +/- 200.00. Shop carefully for the best price--If you are hesitant about replacing the panel yourself, DEFINITELY CALL FOR SERVICE. Your range has several microprocessor controlled boards. I have replaced a fair amount of them--and no, they aren't bad or anything like that either. If you're going to do it yourself, take pix as you go, make a diagram if needed for the screw locations, etc. ALWAYS REMOVE POWER FROM THE RANGE BEFORE TOUCHING YOUR TOOLS AND STARTING WORK!! I hope I helped you!

On the 99 Range oven F7 indicates a shorted Clear/Off Key due to membrane switch or a shorted control or connector

GE oven clock losing time.

I think I got this.... my oven clock does run slow for months then perfect for months, then slow again. I believe a repair would be a waste of money since there is nothing wrong with the clock. The problem is with the supplier of electricity. The oven uses 220 so may be related to the coverting 220 to 110 v. The clock is counting cycles in the electricity supplied to your home and that varies all the time.
