I have looked at this issue extensively and unfortunatey the specific information you require is not widely available.
Philips Norelco have a freephone support line at 1-800-243-3050 that should be able to advise you further on this matter.
There is a repair centre who specialise in Norelco Shavers at this link and their rates seem reasonable if you have to go that route http://www.electricshaver.com/repairservice.htm
There is also an email contact on that page - perhaps one of the engineers would be happy to give you the information you require as it is not a major service issue.
I can understand how frustrating an issue like this is for what in essence would seem a simple repair - however Philips it seems keep service information under wraps like a top secret document!
