Question about Logitech EasyCall Desktop? Keyboard and Mouse
As in the other post, everything works, and some of the keys work, but nothing alpha numeric - I thought it had a 'cat' mode, one of those 80's quirky things for people with cats that like to jump on their keyboards (who are those people anyway, and who likes cats anyway? (except they taste like chicken, but I digress)). Any help out there? Google found this listing, but none more.

SOURCE: keyboard does not work
You don't need to install any software updates. Just do the following:
[Ctrl]-[Alt]-[F12] (must use the left [Ctrl]-[Alt] keys, not the right)
Push the Connect button beneath the keyboard, then the Connect button on the USB Receiver, then the [Esc] key on the keyboard.
This will unlock the security encryption on the keyboard. You may need to reconnect the mouse afterward too.

SOURCE: Wireless Keyboard not connecting
I opened up the Logitech Mouse and Keyboard Settings, turned my keyboard off, changed out the batteries and turned it back on. It then detected the Keyboard and asked for a password, I entered in the password, it said it was rebooting it and asked for another password which I entered (both passwords were given to me in the Settings). Now it is working just fine! Not sure if you have tried this but it might work for you.

The problem was that ther keyboard was encrypted for my protection. this sometimes prevents the keyboard from connecting to the receiver and therefore the computer. to stop encrypton: press the left CRTL + left ALT + F12 key at the same time. Press the connect button on the receiver (you only have a few seconds to then press the connect button on the keyboard. Press the ESC key. Now you must start the encrypton again. Install SetPoint software from www.logitech.com/downloads. after you save and run the program, then press left CTRL + left ALT + F12 keys. sometimes there is an encrytpion wizard that pops up to help you further encrypt the keyboard, but this does not always pop up. It didn't on mine. My keyboard just started working right after i re-sarted the encryption.
hope this helps others that were in my situation.
