My Risograph RZ990 master gets wrinkles at the end of the drum.
If your Risograph RZ990 master is getting wrinkles at the end on the drum, it can be a common issue with Risograph machines that may be caused by several factors. Here are some steps to help diagnose and potentially resolve the problem: 1. Master Roll Condition: Inspect the condition of the master roll itself. Wrinkles can occur if the master roll is damaged or has uneven tension. Ensure that the roll is loaded correctly and that it is not excessively loose or tight. 2. Master Roll Alignment: Make sure the master roll is properly aligned with the machine's drum. An improper alignment can lead to wrinkles during the printing process. 3. Drum Cleaning: Check the drum for any dirt, toner residue, or debris. A dirty drum can cause irregularities in the master's transfer, leading to wrinkles. Clean the drum gently with a lint-free cloth or an appropriate cleaning solution recommended by the manufacturer. 4. Drum Condition: Examine the condition of the drum itself. If the drum is scratched, worn, or damaged, it can affect the master's transfer quality. In such cases, the drum may need to be replaced or professionally serviced. 5. Master Roll Tension: Ensure that the tension of the master roll is correctly adjusted according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Incorrect tension can lead to wrinkles in the master. 6. Master Roll Quality: Check the quality of the master roll itself. If it's old or damaged, it may not feed smoothly, resulting in wrinkles. Consider replacing the master roll with a new one. 7. Temperature and Humidity: Environmental factors such as temperature and humidity can impact the performance of the master roll and the printing process. Ensure that the operating conditions are within the recommended range specified by the manufacturer. 8. Printer Settings: Verify that the printer settings, such as speed and pressure, are correctly configured for the type of master and paper you are using. Incorrect settings can lead to issues like wrinkles. 9. Maintenance Schedule: Follow the recommended maintenance schedule for your Risograph machine. Regular cleaning and maintenance can prevent issues like wrinkles and prolong the life of the equipment. 10. Professional Service: If the issue persists despite your efforts, it may be necessary to contact a professional technician who specializes in Risograph machines. They can diagnose and repair more complex issues and ensure that your machine operates smoothly.
Addressing wrinkles in the master of a Risograph RZ990 machine often involves a combination of proper maintenance, correct settings, and occasionally replacing damaged components. It's essential to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and consider seeking professional assistance if needed to resolve the issue effectively.
Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source.
Remove the paper tray and any paper that is currently loaded in the machine.
Locate the retarder and the paper pickup rollers. The retarder is typically located near the bottom of the machine and is a rubber or plastic component that helps to slow down the paper as it is fed into the machine.
Use a screwdriver to remove any screws or fasteners that are holding the retarder in place.
Carefully lift the retarder out of the machine and discard it.
Install the new retarder by aligning it with the rollers and securing it in place with the screws or fasteners.
Replace the paper tray and any other parts that were removed during the process.
Plug the machine back in and turn it on to test that the new retarder is working properly.
Note: Before performing any maintenance or repairs on your RISOgraph, consult the machine's manual for specific instructions and precautions.

"Risograph GR3750 marks to fault T11. I need consultation to solve this problem. Or it is necessary to call to technical support?"
Error T11 means:
Call service.
Here some details of the error which may help to solve it:
Pressure Control Motor Lock
• In 100ms from turning ON of the pressure control motor, the encoder sensor cannot detect a pulse.
• In 5 seconds from turning ON of the pressure control motor, the pressure centering sensor is not turned ON/OFF.
• When the fuse of the main power board is gone.
this problem is on pressure motor, stay in rear part machine,i don´t remember of the code for testing. after i put here, if you need pass e- mail for [email protected]
This code indicates a fault with the paper tray lift-up motor. F3-12 = tray 1, F3-22 = tray 2 etc. To clear this fault switch off at the power supply and empty the indicated tray of all apaper and jams. Operate the lift up section and then close the drawer with NO paper in drawe. Switch on again and after the machine boots up replace the paper in the drawer. This usually works fine unless there is a serious problem with the lift-up motor.
T2 indicates an elevator motor failure. Take off the back cover and check the lower limit sensor for the paper tray to make sure its not full of dust. Reset can be done by holding the reset key down during power up. Test mode is entered by holding down LINE/PHOTO and the M/P buttons during power up. Test mode# 102 tests operation of the elevator motor.
If (this?) is a large capacity draw then check to see if there is a small hole in the back of the machine on the same level as that of the paper draw. Power off the machine then stick a screw driver into the hole, there is a spring release for manual release. If this is a small tray then you can disconnect the draw from the copier 4 screws and plates (If installed:() dont for get the cable connection middle back of machine, recommeded two people lift
