Question about Lasko 48" Xtra Air Tower Fan with Air Ionizer
My lasko tower fan gets power and the light turns on and it will rotate but it wont blow air out and i tryed cleaning it and still wont work?
The bearings on the motor are dry and need oil. It's really not made to be oiled, but you may be able to take it apart and get some oil to the bearings if you want to mess with it.

I found that the motor was open. I took the motor apart and found the negative side of the wire inside the motor color is red connects to the white wire which goes to the 5ufarad capacitor mounted on the unit was broken inside the motor. I soldered the wires togehter in the motor and covered with heat shrink. The motor now works fine on all three speeds. I hope this helps
