I saw one on eBAY used it had 11 bids at $5.50 . Sorry, they aren't worth nearly as much as we paid for them.

Pioneer 800 mk1 eject disc when powers on

Well, the optical pickup is not able to read the disk. First off, did you use ESD protection when you installed it? If not, it may already be damaged. I have a multi disc DVD player, When I tried to eject a disc, the caddie opened, however the disc did not come out. How do I get it out of the machine without damaging the machine or the disc?

Hi, Give more detail please. Does it have 5 disc changer on a rotating drawer or does it have cartridge. You may have to open metal cover to retrive the disc. Good luck.

Hi There, I had a dvd inserted in my Acer Z5600 us it and when I try to eject while ejecting halfway the dvd was pulled in again and then it only give error ejecting dvd drive. Do you have any advise?

Personally I would probably just grab the DVD and yank it out while it's halfway out. You shouldn't damage anything. Give your computer a restart after for good measure.

Sony dvd player will not eject disc: "Disk Error" displays on screen then it will try to load over and over. It will not respond to open?

Try unplugging and re-plugging. If the does not work try to start the Player without letting it load. i.e. give it a separate command before trying to eject disc.

Unplugged hard drive w/o ejecting

Hi,

This is problem with the file system which is currupted in your case. There is one solution to get all the files back. Follow the steps:

1) Plugin the USB external drive in to the computer
2) Go to My Computer and note down the drive letter for your USB device liek C: or D: or E:
3) type the command in RUN (cmd or command)
4) It takes your to windows command prompt
5) type ( chkdsk /f <drive letter which belongs to your device liek C: or D: or E:) dont forget to put colon symbol after drive letter
6) Press enter, it will unmount the disk if already in use and repair the file system
7) Once finished all the phases remove the device and plugin again

HOPE NOW YOU CAN SEE THE FILES

IF it does not work drop me a mail at katwal.raman@gmail.com. I will give the software to restore all the data.

Eject button on my x-box 80 not working

Well it can be a faulty drive, on the dashboard try using the option the says Eject, and see if that works. Also if the drive eject, then keep a DVD or CD inside so is easier for the machine to eject. If that doesnt work, then if you know how to open your xbox, the try putting something that keeps the drive away from the heat sink, because sometimes the problems is that the heatsink is so hot that affects the drive and it damages the drive. But if that doesnt work either then you should replace it with another one with the same model and then flash it with the old firmware from the old drive.

High pitched noise, then ejects tape

Hi friends. (Excuse my poor English). Well, i bought a SCD364 Samsung CamCoder that is physically and mechanically exactly as scd363. My scd364 also have the same problem. Because the warranty has expired, i discovered a solution. The problem ocurs due to a missing calibrati?n at tape motion mechanism then when the cam goes heat, the motor grazes with another part of the mechanism that this located very near (wax)causing a metallic noise, eating the battery and, finally the blinking "D" eject signal. I amazing when discovered that the solution is to open the tape compartment and place the opened camera infront of the air conditioning machine by 2 minutes in order to cool it. Once cold, the camera is ready to play or record again without noise and blinking "D".
