Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am receiving the message "no valid disc" on the dual screens...

it appears yous direct drive motor is damaged. When a disc does not spin, it will say the same as a bad disc. You can easily get this fixed, but not cost efficient. Better off replacing it the component.

PS2, no picture/sound, but disc is spinning

When you moved did you leave the cords plugged into the unit and just wrap them around it? If so, you broke the A/V jack and it will have to be resoldered or replaced. If not, then we'll have to go over some other options.
